If you counted the number of posts where I write about controlling your own destiny and becoming the person you want to be by sheer will you will get bored. This page waxes on about how you shouldn't waste time and about how it's time to change and probably some of you think I'm just some talking head who doesn't know anything. Well, that couldn't be farther from the truth... I wrote a book (shameless plug) that you can buy on Amazon called The Good Fail http://www.amazon.com/Good-Fail-Entrepreneurial-Lessons-Microworkz/dp/1118250710 about how bad acted in the past. As a young desperate man I did a ton of stupid things, hurt some people in the process and have spent the last 20 years trying to make up for them. Believe me, I know what it's like to pay the price for the things I did and for the rest of my life their will be haters that never forgive or forget. To be honest, I'm not sure I would either. Now, there are only a couple of things you can do when you find yourself in a position like I did: 1. Crawl into a hole, blame other people and pretend it will all go away. 2. Take responsibility for the things you've done, take your lumps and get back up and go to work changing who you are. I hid from my past at first but to be honest, now I own it and all the difficulties it will bring for the rest of my life. Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect and still make plenty of mistakes, but none of them will ever hurt anyone but myself. In December as a matter of fact I was even arrested (you should see the mug shot, the one day I don't do my hair at for a 6am flight haha) for having bullets in and old bag in an airport (charges were dropped) but it reminded me again of checking and double checking to make sure I make the right choices every time. Remember the haters will always hate, who cares because you and I know who we are. When you read what I write, when you interpret the words on the page or the actions I do please don't make the assumption that I'm some silver spooned motivational speaker who is just talking the talk. No, I write what I write from the heart and soul of a guy who's been to the bottom where most people never get up and is teaching lessons that he himself uses every day. This page has my name on it, just thought I should come clean and let you know who you are on this journey with. Still with me? Ok, it's a new day, there are plenty of hot dogs to eat and I'm thinking we are gonna do a Facebook live session this week. What do you think? Should we? :) Now's the time to like the page so you can ask questions and get involved. It's gonna be our first one so I'm a little nervous, be gentle with me haha.
